A temporary speed limit of 40mph is to be introduced on part of the A29 Dungannon Road near Cookstown for the next four months.
The speed restriction is being put in place while works are carried out on an extension to a footway/cycleway scheme on the road.
The speed restriction is to come into place from Monday, April 17, and is expected to remain until August 11 and will apply from the B0520 Tullywiggan Road part of the A29 Dungannon Road Roundabout towards Riverdale Drive.

A statement from the Department for Infrastructure says once finished the scheme will provide more opportunities for walkers and cyclists in the Cookstown area.
“A shared footway/cycleway scheme is due to commence on the A29 Dungannon Road, Cookstown on Monday 17 April,” DfI said.
“The works will extend along the A29 Dungannon Road, Cookstown to provide approximately 620 metres of new shared footway/cycleway from the B0520 Tullywiggan Road part of the A29 Dungannon Road Roundabout towards Riverdale Drive.
“This scheme, which will provide further links to the existing network, will greatly enhance provision for walking, wheeling and cycling in the Cookstown area and is part of the Department’s ongoing commitment to increase opportunities for active travel.
“To facilitate the safe delivery of the scheme it will be necessary to implement a temporary 40mph speed limit continually throughout the duration of the works until Friday 11 August 2023.”
The statement added that the completion of the works by August 11 would be subject to favourable weather conditions.
