A Nottinghamshire road was partially closed shortly before 12midnight on Tuesday, January 24. Emergency services were called to the scene of a collision on the A1 northbound, between B6325 North Muskham and A57 Markham Moor.
Officers from Nottinghamshire Roads Policing Unit were at the scene. Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Fire and ambulances also attended.
Traffic was diverted to local routes. Road users caught within the closure were released past the scene in the outside lane.

The road was closed from the junction at Carlton-on-Trent. The road was cleared just after 12.30am on Wednesday, January 25.
In a tweet, National Highways East Midlands said: "CLEARED. #A1 northbound between B6325 #NorthMuskham and A57 #MarkhamMoor #Nottinghamshire. ROAD OPEN following the earlier collision. No delays."
No delays to traffic have been reported at the time of the publication. The road is now clear.
