Greater Manchester is set to feel more mild, as temperatures struggle to top 20C for the remainder of the week. A mixed bag of weather is forecast for our region, with rain predicted to fall every day expect for Sunday.
According to the Met Office, light rain will begin falling from 11am today (Wednesday June 28), turning heavy this afternoon. It should clear up by 6pm, with wall-to-wall cloud forecast the rest of the night and temperatures peaking at 22C.
However Mancunians will be waking up to sunny spells tomorrow (Thursday June 29), with a mostly dry day ahead. There's a chance of a light rain shower at around 3pm, but other than that it's sunny intervals galore, with the mercury hitting 19C.

Friday (June 30) will start off sunny, changing to cloudy by the late morning. Rain is forecast from the early evening, late into the night. Again, temperatures will peak at 19C.
The weekend will see much of the same, with temperatures reaching 18C. Expect a wet start on Saturday, clearing up for more sunny intervals around the early afternoon.
Fortunately, the dry conditions will continue into the night - and into Sunday. It's forecast to be dry all day on Sunday, with some sunshine poking through the clouds from the early morning until the afternoon.
While temperatures might feel milder and the sun won't seem as hot, the pollen count will still be either medium or high every day. Grass and nettle pollen are both in peak season, so beware if you suffer from hay fever.
