A Vol and a Gator literally tried to box each other at the end of Tennessee-Florida

After Florida upset No. 11 Tennessee in the Swamp, college football fans had to have known that thing would not end normally for either team.

Well, it sure didn’t, as what could’ve been a simple kneel-down for Florida turned into an all-out brawl when it became clear things were going to continue to the final whistle.

Things got so chaotic that Vols defensive back Kamal Hadden and Gators offensive lineman Micah Mazzccua literally got into boxing stance and seemed prepared to spar with each other by game’s end.

This is one of college football’s classic rivalries, and both teams seemed fully prepared to live into that on Saturday night.

After losing to Utah in the first game of the season, Florida looked more like it hoped it would against Tennessee. The Vols disappointed, but it was always going to be a tougher transition compared to the fireworks of 2022.

However, both teams deserve to feel a little silly for letting this one get out of hand by game’s end. We can bet they’ll carry this friction into next year’s game in Knoxville.
