This time, the spotlight’s on Chelsea (played by Aimee Lou Wood), the free-spirited Brit and my personal diva. She’s been pretty much vibing (and worrying about Rick) for most of the season but a now-viral theory suggests we’re in for some heartbreak with this one. Specifically, fans reckon her $10,081 “Stay Gold” pendant might be more than just an accessory — it could be a death sentence.
Chelsea’s flashy LunaFlo London necklace has been turning heads all season. But it’s not just its eye-watering price tag that has fans talking — it’s the meaning behind it. The pendant is inspired by The Outsiders and pays homage to Johnny Cade’s iconic line, “Stay gold, Ponyboy”.
If you watched the movie read the book in high school English, you know Johnny says this while straight up dying. Yeah, not exactly a vibe for someone you’re rooting for.

If the necklace wasn’t enough to make you sweat, Chelsea herself has been dropping ominous hints. In a recent episode, she casually mentioned that “bad things come in threes” and reminded us she’s already had two near-death experiences — a robbery gone wrong and a snake bite. Fans are convinced this is foreshadowing her third strike.
“She said it herself — bad things come in threes! My money is on Chelsea,” one commenter declared. Another chimed in: “She’s the most loyal and kind character, which means she’s doomed. It’s The White Lotus, after all.”
