Would you miss your own wedding to watch a college football game? Probably not. At least if you know what’s good for you.
But the CFB slate for October 12 is absolutely going to make you at least think about it for a second. Because, holy moly, that’s got to be one of the best days of the college football season.

We’ve got banger after banger, folks. Ohio State and Orgeon. Texas and Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry. Ole Miss against LSU. Penn State against USC. That’s all in one day! Insane.
That day also happens to be one of the most popular wedding days, according to The Knot. Go figure.
The Knot reports that Saturday, October 12th is one of the five MOST POPULAR wedding dates in 2024.

There is definitely at least one Texas fan out there who had no idea that their wedding was scheduled on the same day as the Red River Rivalry game and is trying to move heaven and earth to push their wedding day to the next week.
