Did you watch Cuba and the Netherlands play in the first game of the World Baseball Classic and wondered why you were hearing someone hit what sounded like a car horn during the contest?
You weren’t the only one.
It turns out there’s a fan of Cuba who goes to every game and honks a very, very loud horn. Is it a car horn? Probably not. But it sounds like one!
This angered a lot of baseball fans, taking us back to the days of vuvuzelas during the 2020 World Cup in South Africa. But now at least you know where it’s coming from!
“Honey I’m gonna bring the car horn in with me. People will love it.”

The guy with the horn that everybody seems to be hearing on TV is a trucker who lives in Houston. Born and raised in Cuba. He apparently goes to EVERY international tournament Cuba is in (U-18, World Cups, etc) with his trusty horn. Players all know him
