A new mural carrying an anti-racism message has appeared in Cardiff.
The artwork painted on Moira Terrace, Adamsdown was created in support of Urdd's 2023 Peace and Goodwill message of anti-racism. Urdd Gobaith Cymru is Wales' largest youth organisation that has been sharing an annual Peace and Goodwill message for 101 years. This years message is "Call. Them. Out", a "no messing message to the world on anti racism".
The mural depicts a portrait of Urdd ambassador, Nia Fajeyisan, a young football player and coach in Cardiff. The portrait was created by Unify Creatives who have painted many other murals around Cardiff of figures including, Gary Speed and Maimuna Yoncana.

Adamsdown councillor Owen Jones told WalesOnline the he is "delighted that Unify Creative’s latest mural has come to Adamsdown".
He said: "These are wonderful, striking and powerful images that promote such positive messages. Very proud to see this collaboration with the Urdd in the heart of the capital city. Moira Terrace is a thoroughfare for traffic, this mural has lifted the street scene overnight and will be seen by hundreds of commuters daily. The message is one that we should all be adhering to. Call racism out. Galw. Nhw. Allan."
The mural is not fully complete and Urdd will have an official unveiling on Tuesday, June 6.
