This could potentially be the easiest £12k you'll ever make - a stunning Italian island is dishing out cash grants to anyone who moves there.
Despite its beautiful setting, Sardina has been struggling to attract new residents and as a result officials have had to take action.

Officials of the second-largest island in the Mediterranean Sea is now offering new residents a grant of €15,000 (£12,600) in a bid to boost its dwindling community.
According to the president of Sardinia: "We have created the conditions for young people to decide to stay and (develop) the economic fabric of the most fragile territories."
There's a whopping €45 million budget on offer, so around 3,000 new households will be able to cash in on the initiative.
According to themayor.eu : "The government’s aid for the property purchase comes as a non-repayable grant to the household, and it can reach up to 15,000 euros. In any case, it cannot cover more than 50% of the value of the house or renovation, and cannot exceed the stated amount.
"The grant is disbursed to those who register their residence in a small town in Sardinia or to those who transfer their registered residence within 18 months from the purchase of the house or from the date of completion of the works. People who already have their original residence in another small town on the island cannot apply for the grant."
