The Ravensworth Arms in Gateshead has reopened after a £1m refurbishment.
The pub in Greenford Lane, Lamesley has been given a fresh look inspired by cosy country pubs which offer a home-from-home setting. The adjoining hotel has had a makeover too, with each of the 19 en-suite bedrooms fully redesigned. The venue also features a newly-decorated function room and outdoor terrace which is available to book for special events.
Situated half a mile off the A1 in Lamesley, The Ravensworth Arms is close to the Angel of The North, Gateshead, the Metrocentre, Newcastle and Beamish Museum.
The new-look pub was reopened on Friday January 24.

Its Sunday roast menu includes a selection of meats all served with glazed seasonal veg, Yorkshire pudding, sausage meat stuffing, garlic & rosemary goose fat roast potatoes and gravy.
