Coldplay will be coming back to the UK next year as part of its Music of Spheres World Tour. The band have added more dates to what's rumoured to be their last tour.
It comes as frontman Chirs Martin hinted at an upcoming hitatus, as they try to 'pack in as much as possible' over the next few months. Which has included six sell out performances at London's Wembley Stadium, an immersive experience which featured some of their best hits, 'A Sky Full of Stars' and 'Yellow'.
Now fans in Manchester and Cardiff will get a chance to soak up the atmosphere. Further dates added to the Music Of The Spheres Tour include Portugal, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden and the Netherlands.
Tickets for the new European and UK shows will go on sale at 10am on Thursday, August 25, via Ticketmaster and See Tickets.
Since kicking off their World Tour earlier this year in South America the band have sold more than 1 million tickets. Celebrating their albumn, 'Music Of The Spheres', released in October 2021 the lineup includes their proceeding hit single 'Higher Power'. The tour has been praised for its immersive atmosphere, fans are given lightup wristbands as they enter to light-up the stadium during 'Fix You' and as part of a fledge to cut tour emissions the set is powered by dancing fans. Using kinetic floors fans energy powers part of the set and for every ticket sold a tree is planted.
