A 'really girly' sleepover club has opened in Ancoats with 'the world's biggest mini bar'

A new 'sleepover club' has opened in Ancoats, complete with a popcorn machine, projector screen and bar.

Bathed in pink light and covered in pink and white flowers, Copper & Blossom can host up to eight guests for the ultimate night in.

There are plush double beds, a faux log-burning fireplace, and what is being described as the world's biggest mini-bar, which can be stocked with your choice of booze before arrival.

Copper & Blossom has opened in the former Jungle Jazz Cafe unit and is already proving popular with hen parties and big birthday gatherings, with a few celebrity guests already hosting events inside.

The space on Oldham Road is split into two areas - there's the bedroom, and a living room/entertainment space, plus a shower room with a double sink.

In the bedroom is a huge projector screen that can be lowered from the ceiling ready for Netflix binges or watching the latest blockbusters.

There's also a make-up station in the bedroom with a light-rimmed mirror.

The entire venue looks like an Instagram explosion, with botanical print wallpaper and fake flowers tumbling down from the ceiling.

A bold black and white striped wallpaper in the lounge area is completed with a glowing neon 'Good F***ing Vibes' sign.

Custom packages at Copper & Blossom allow guests to book additional entertainment, such as private bartenders and even magicians.

Owner Richie Clark said: "Staying in is the new going out! We saw there was a massive niche for unique boutique accommodation and there's nothing like this in Manchester.

"Initially when we first came up for the idea it was just as an event space for private hires, but we decided to take the risk.

"I've had the idea for about two years - not as accommodation, but as a bar. Really girly, really Instagrammable, really trendy. People will flock to it just to use it as a photo op."

Copper & Blossom is already working on opening a second site in Leeds after being fully booked in Manchester for months back-to-back.

A night's accommodation for up to eight people is priced between £600 and £800, depending on demand and booking size.
