Rewind to the year 2015.
So much was different back then, but Taylor Swift was just as popular. It was also a breakout season for one Travis Kelce as a third-year tight end.
But let’s focus on one Chase Daniel. He was a backup quarterback for Alex Smith that year, and apparently, after a Swift concert, Daniel gave Swift a Chiefs jersey. HOW PRESCIENT WAS THAT? Unfortunately, it was a No. 89 (for 1989, I imagine) and not Kelce’s No. 87, but still!
Of course, Swifties are having all kinds of fun with this with Kelce and Swift dating, and Daniel took notice this week:
