A Place In The Sun viewers slam apartment with 'breezeblock sofas'

A Place In The Sun viewers slammed a property they compared to a police cell.

Sisters Lynne and Samantha were hunting for a property for their families to enjoy inland of Spain's Cádiz. Danni Menzies was tasked with finding them a village house with two bedrooms and plenty of outside space for their £60,000 budget.

Danni admitted she had her "work cut out" for her as their budget was vastly smaller compared to other home hunters. She toured the sisters around multiple properties which they felt indifferent to before arriving at a home viewers deemed as "a cell."

The £52,000 apartment was well within their budget, meeting their requirements, and went down as a potential with the pair. Viewers, however, continued to slam the tiny property.

The apartment was a confined space made smaller by bulky solid furniture that sat appeared to be quite old. There were also visible signs of ruin as dry paint was falling off the walls in several areas.

One viewer said: "Another bedroom. Do your guests like sleeping in a police cell? Concrete sofa."

Another added: "Comes furnished, with beautiful breeze block sofas..."

A third viewer said: "Death trap!!"

Despite Danni's best efforts, the sisters agreed that nothing stood out to them. The property expert asked if they were sure with the decision they were making before they walked away from Spain with nothing.
