A Place in the Sun star reveals crude messages she gets from 65-year-old men

Danni Menzies got so fed up of being bombarded with grim X-rated messages that she considered forwarding them to one of the weirdo's parents.

A Place In The Sun's Danni has opened up about ‘disgusting’ snaps she receives whenever the Channel 4 show airs.

The TV star said she gets around 300 messages every time show is broadcast – with some of the rudest messages often coming from men double her age sending images she would much rather not have to open.

The Scottish star has admitted she is so sick of it that she has considered taking drastic action .

“It was one of the first things that happened once I got the job and it was pretty disgusting," she told Entertainment Daily.

Danni came close to finding one vile user's mum on facebook (danni.menzies/Instagram)

“I considered finding the guy’s mother on Facebook and sending it to her but I didn’t. It would’ve terrified her."

Danni added: “I literally get about 300 every time the show’s on.

“They say: ‘Do you have a minute to talk?’ ‘Can I take you out on Friday?’ Just from Jim who’s 65 and I’m like really, really Jim? I never reply. Definitely not. Block and delete.”

The popular show helps Brits find new homes abroad, alongside co-stars Jonnie Irwin and Laura Hamilton.

She has also spoken about battling depression and mental health in the past.

Things got worse when she joined the hit Channel 4 show and the former model says she really struggled with anxiety after getting the job.

But thankfully she said hasn't had a set-back despite her inbox being flooded every time the programme hits screens.

Thankfully, they haven't impacted on her mental health after opening up before (danni.menzies/Instagram)

The 32-year-old, who told the publication is single, says bosses have been "incredibly supportive" since she burst onto the scene.

She said she didn't want to open up but it came out during a “long chat” over lunch and laid bare her issues.

Danni is now glad she did – and told others that discussing issues is a route she is pleased she took.
