A Place In The Sun star Laura Hamilton has revealed she was caught up in a car crash in Spain earlier this week.
The TV presenter was filming the Channel 4 property show when the crash happened, but said luckily “no one was hurt”.
In a lengthy post on Instagram, Laura told her 179,000 followers she didn’t want to “over dramatise” the situation as it was a “minor incident”.
But the 40-year-old, who shares children Rocco, nine, and Tahlia, seven, with ex-husband Alex Goward, shared it had still left her shaken.
Alongside a reel of her latest time in Spain with the A Place In The Sun crew, she wrote: “Happiness... When you love people. When you love travel. When you love property. When you love your job! I am always grateful.”

Laura then continued: “But let’s be honest life isn’t always rosy, even if it seems so.
“The start of this week actually got off to a pretty s****y start. Unfortunately (and for the first time ever abroad) I had a car accident as I was on the way to our first property.
“Before anything is over dramatised, it was a minor incident and more importantly no one was hurt. However, I still felt pretty rubbish.”
Ever the professional, the property expert said: “I think it’s important in life to always focus on the positive.
“Whist I felt rubbish, I had to ensure my house hunters had the best time with me and lots of fun whilst we looked for their dream holiday home.”
She added: “The search isn’t over yet but I think it’s been a successful one so far and we have certainly had a lot of laughs.
“Thank you as always to the team on the road and back in Blighty that make all this possible!”

Concerned fans were quick to comment underneath, with one saying: “Oh nooo hope you’re ok Laura.”
Another wrote: “It’s a horrible feeling but thankfully no one was hurt. Great attitude.”
A third commented: “So sorry to hear about your accident and really hope you’re ok. Keep smiling your smile Laura. You’re a star.”
“You are a beautiful positive person Laura, never change that sweetie,” a fourth added.

Giving fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse of filming on the show, Laura joked she had her house hunters mucking in on set.
In a clip uploaded to her Instagram stories, she is heard saying: “Up a bit Chris, down a bit Chris.”
Explaining what she is doing, Laura told fans: “I’m putting my house hunters to good use this week. I’m making him do the reflector, bounce some light on me.”
House hunter Chris then jokes: “Laura, stop messing about. I didn’t sign up for this!”
Viewers will have to tune in to later in the year to see if couple Chris and Jill found their dream home.
