A Place In The Sun star Laura Hamilton has announced she is set to join ITV's This Morning.
The presenter, 40, is a popular figure on the house hunting show abroad, finding dream homes abroad for couples on Channel 4's A Place In The Sun.
But The Place In The Sun star took to Instagram to share exciting news that she is joining the rival broadcaster ITV during a break from her Channel 4 show.
Laura shared with fans that she is filming a new project for daytime show This Morning, hosted by Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
Laura shared several behind-the-scenes snaps from location so her fans could get a sneak peek into the upcoming property project set to air soon on ITV.
Laura wrote: “Excited to be filming something new over the next few weeks and joining This Morning.”
One photo showed Laura walking in front of a giant farm building donning blue overalls and a set of black boots.
She followed the snap with another of herself next to a donkey, joking: “Just a couple of asses, first day filming with This Morning.”
She concluded: “So excited to be part of the team.”
Fans rushed to the comments to congratulate the presenter on her latest TV gig, with one writing: “Ahhhh amazing well done! Xxxx”
A second said: “Oh, at last a link to this morning, Laura...our new Holly Willoughby.”
A third commented: “Congratulations Laura, I'm so pleased for you! You will be fab and I cannot think of anyone any better for the job!
“Just as long as you don't go leaving A Place in the Sun...please?! Good luck, I can't wait to see it ! X”
Laura has presented A Place in the Sun for more than a decade after joining in 2011 and has gone on to help many property buyers find their dream home in the sun.
Earlier this year she shocked fans when it was announced that she had split from her husband Alex Goward after a decade of marriage.
A source claimed at the time the marriage came under strain during the Covid lockdown after the pair had become accustomed to Laura being away for work.
In February, Laura broke her silence following the split to let her fans know she is okay.
The presenter opened up about setting up house alone following what she called a decision "we both came to".
Speaking to Hello! magazine, Laura said: "It was a chapter of my life that I am now closing, and I have so many happy memories."
She continued to say that while the pair have opted to travel different paths, they will keep respect for each other as they intend to make their children's happiness and wellbeing their priority.
The duo share two children together, son Rocco, eight, and daughter Tahlia, six.
