A Place in the Sun 's Jonnie Irwin says he's "given in" and started to celebrate Christmas, after sharing adorable pictures of a trip to see Santa with one of his sons. The Channel 4 presenter says he has just months to live after he was diagnosed with cancer - leaving him devastated.
Jonnie, 49, posted a series of snaps on Instagram to his 143,000 followers which shows him, his wife and one of his young son's on a trip to see Santa Claus. The little one is all smiles and looks delighted to meet the man who'll be dropping his presents off on Christmas Day.
He captioned the images: "Ok, I’ve given in, Christmas is here! Nothing to do with the mince pies and mulled wine on offer at all! Merry Christmas! X"
Yesterday, Jonnie posted a picture of his son Rex in a Morocco top as they cheered on the North African team, who knocked Spain out of the World Cup with a shock win on penalties. And we told you recently how he left himself filled with painkillers after a tough night, just days after a holiday abroad in Marrakesh in Morocco.
Jonnie wrote on social media: "After a torrid night in pain I dosed up on PKs and was able to enjoy the beautiful Lakes via E-mtb.
"I’ll probably pay for it later but grateful for the window, the company and the weather. Only my second time, hired one machines but I’m hooked! #thelakes "
