Jasmine Harman was in disbelief at a couple's admission moments into today's A Place in the Sun.
The property expert was helping Debbie and Guy find their perfect forever home in France on Tuesday's edition of the popular Channel 4 programme. The couple were looking for a large space in the Charente region.
The couple were looking for a modern kitchen and were armed with a £135,000 budget. They were hoping to move to Western France to start their own gîte business.

Jasmine was taken aback at the very beginning of the search when she found out the couple had never visited the region before. She said: "How have you decided to come and move to an area without ever having been here before?"
Guy responded: "Over the last two years, we have done a lot of research online and it looks like the right place to us." The couple's gamble paid off as they were impressed by their first visit to the region.
Debbie branded the region as beautiful and Guy added: "So far the people have seemed really friendly and we've seen some really nice restaurants. It's just so peaceful."
They decided to put a bid in for property five, which was a French farmhouse priced at £135,000. The couple managed to secure the property for £123,000.
