A Place in the Sun 's Jasmine Harman has been left heartbroken and leaning on her “rock” husband for support after a very upsetting week.
The Channel 4 presenter is devastated after suffering "four lots" of "tremendously sad news" in the space of just one week.
She took to her Instagram on Monday to thank her husband Jon Boast for his support but didn't give any further details on any of the news she’d received.
The telly star, 47, wrote: "Well this week has been an absolute downer. Four lots of tremendously sad news in one week.
"I am so grateful to have @jboasty_dop by my side to get through some of the more upsetting stuff.
"Thank you for always being there for me and being my rock. Love you xxx."
She shared a black and white photo of her snuggling into Jon alongside the heartfelt message.
Her A Place In The Sun co-stars rushed to lend Jasmine their support in the comments.
Scarlette Douglas wrote: “Sending you love Jas xxx,” while Lee Juggernauth penned: “Sending you love.”
Her fans also echoed the sentiment, with one writing: "Everyone needs a rock at sometime in their life. Glad to hear you’ve got one. X." [sic]
And another added: "Sorry to hear this. Sending you love and strength."
She later shared a video from the coast in Fuerteventura, telling fans that “being by the sea is very restoring”. Jasmine also thanked friends and fans for their supportive messages.
Jasmine has been with cameraman Jon since 2004, after the pair met when he was working on the set of A Place In The Sun.
They tied the knot in 2009 following five years of dating.
They later became parents to two children, a son named Albion and a daughter, Joy.
Jasmine previously spoke to the Mirror about finding the positives in lockdown as she was able to spend time with her husband.
The pandemic meant she and Jon were actually in the same place for once.
She told the Mirror: "Sometimes Jon and I don’t see each other for a month at a time because I’ll be away for a week and then I get back and he’s gone. It has been quite nice to be all together as a family. I think the kids have really, really enjoyed having their parents around.
“Neither of us have worked because our industry has just shut down and there’s not much filming-wise. You can’t do A Place In The Sun from home!”
