A Place in the Sun presenter flummoxed as buyers rush off and leave her behind

Buyers on A Place in the Sun were so excited to see a property that they left the presenter behind.

Kim was looking for a holiday home in Spain’s Eastern Costa del Sol and brought her younger sister Debbie along to help. Commandeering the search was Channel 4's property expert Leah Charles-King.

With a budget of £115,000 the sisters hoped for a property which was just a stone's throw away from the beach. They also wanted at least two bedrooms, access to a swimming pool and a bit of outside space.

The search started so well that the sisters decided to rush off on their own. Leah was telling them about the first property - a two-bedroom apartment with a private courtyard- when the sisters took off before she was done talking.

Leah asked: "I guess you want to see the rest then?" One of the sister's replied: "Oh yes, definitely" and started to walk away before the host could say anything else.

The presenter was taken aback as she said: "Look I haven't even told you to go off yet. Look, they're gone."

She shouted after them: "Alright then. I'll meet you when you're ready."

While Kim and Debbie seemed to love the property's interior they said the outside was too enclosed. They said there wasn't much of a view and the noise from the traffic was off-putting.

So, despite their initial hastiness they weren't too sure about having the property as a contender. Debbie said: "It's going to break my heart to say no."
