A Place in the Sun viewers have been left fuming after the fan favourite property programme was taken off air.
The Channel 4 show was pulled from the schedule towards the end of last week and has not returned this week.
On Thursday and Friday it was replaced by live coverage of Crufts and this week a brand new series sits in A Place in the Sun's usual 3pm time slot.
The broadcaster has confirmed the popular overseas property programme will be replaced by new show Tool Club.
The show gives people the skills and confidence to tackle DIY challenges themselves, with the help of experts Max McMurdo, Julia Miller-Osborn and Jess Grizzle.
Tool Club aired one episode back in 2021 but Channel 4 has waited until now before broadcasting the programme's first series.
The first episode aired on Monday and will continue to be shown on weekdays at 3pm for 15 episodes.
It's not yet been confirmed whether A Place in the Sun will return to Channel 4 after Tool Club's run or whether another programme will temporarily take its place.
A Place in the Sun fans were not happy with the shake-up and took to Twitter to complain as one tweeted last week: "Omg where is A Place in the Sun who wants to see bloody dogs running about?!"
"Not sure about today's show. No mention of budget, preferred location - nothing. Bring back Chuckles and the woeful recent repeats," another wrote.
A third asked: "I wonder how many #aplaceinthesun regulars have made it to day two of #toolclub? Gimme a holler if you fit that criteria."
"Just checked today’s Channel 4 schedule. What the hell IS #ToolClub and is it a club for tools? #aplaceinthesun," another quipped while a fifth joked: "They should have sent the #toolclub team to do up some of the cheap apartments bought on #aplaceinthesun... memo to @CH4."
The latest edition of Tool Club, which aired on Tuesday, saw the team help Pat transform a wheelbarrow while the tool bus revived a much-loved toy.
Wednesday's edition will see an antique show owner visit the tool bus while the team repurpose a green house.
