A Place In The Sun buyers were left "overwhelmed" by a property's continuous surprises.
Lee Juggurnauth accompanied another set of buyers hoping to find a second home in Spain they can share with their children and escape to in the winter months. With a £175,000 budget, the Croydon couple wanted a multibedroom home with a pool and a stunning view of Costa Blanca.
House hunters Devi and Dabi were left underwhelmed by their first property's lack of size and awkward distance from the sea. It wasn't until they were shown a second home in Barx that their excitement was evident as the property's secret gems left them in awe.

Lee took the couple around the new four-bed villa before showing them the backyard which offered a tucked-away swimming pool with stunning views of the area. Devi and Dabi said they were happily surprised by the pool as they thought the house already had a lot to offer.
The surprises didn't end there as in the basement of the villa sat a games room perfect for the couple's children. Devi said: "This could be a strong contender as the dynamic works for the family. I could see it really working."
Dabi agreed as she noted the villa was twice the size of the first and offered a "stunning garden." Lee asked if the couple were happy to put more money towards the property as it was £4,000 outside of their budget to which they said they would consider.
Devi added: "We got lost in this property. It's really lovely compared to the first property and I'm a bit overwhelmed by how nice it is. This is the contender." The hidden gems went down a storm with the couple but as the vendor wouldn't drop their selling price they were unable to call the home their own..
