Two sisters looking to buy a home were in tears when carrying out their search on Channel 4's A Place in the Sun.
Danni Menzies hoped to find sisters Pamela and Sheila a holiday home in Oliva, Alicante, for £70,000. They wanted a home in memory of their mum as they made plans to move abroad before she sadly passed away.
The sisters hoped for a property which had at least two bedrooms and an outdoor space. They wanted to be close to the beach and local amenities such as bars, restaurants and a supermarket. One specific requirement that they had was for the home to have a wooden door, as that's what their mum would have wanted.

They brought their mum's ashes along for the ride. Pamela said: "We've brought our mum with us - her ashes. So, hopefully, fingers crossed we find our property and then we can have a little plot for her."
Danni replied: "That is a first. But obviously you must have had quite a close relationship and it was something that you wanted to do together so it's beautiful that you brought her along for the ride."
The property expert host showed Pamela and Sheila a home that they could only of dreamt of. It had a big wooden door as they requested and was full of character as it came filled with furniture. It was spread across three floors with three bedrooms and a huge roof terrace.
Entering the property, Pamela was brought to tears and Danni asked why she was crying. She replied: "This is what we want. We don't want a holiday looking place, it's got to be home."
Danni asked: "What do you think your mum would think?" Sheila replied: "Mum would love it. Our mum would have put an offer in when she was outside."
When it came to decision making time however, the sisters decided that they wanted to put an offer on a different townhouse. Danni said: "You told me on the property search that your mum had come along with us? Is she here?"
Pamela and Sheila replied in unison as they said: "She's on the table." The camera panned to a decorated pot on the table which held their mum's ashes. Danni added: "Is she bringing us some good vibes?" Sheila added: "And good luck."
The seller accepted an offer of £62,500 as both of the sisters burst into tears once more. They all raised a glass to their mum as they celebrated the start of their future in Spain.
