A new crazy golf experience is heading to Cardiff, in a new addition to the city's nightlife scene. Golf Fang, which currently has crazy golf venues in Birmingham, Newcastle, Liverpool, Sheffield and Glasgow, are now opening their first Welsh venue in the capital.
Not only will there be 18 rounds of truly crazy golf, from holes inspired by arcade claw machines to neon light Mario Super Bros holes to The Jeremy Kyle Show-inspired holes, but there will also be a bar and live DJs at the venue. Golf Fang will open in early 2023 on Mary Ann Street in Cardiff. You can keep up to date with the latest What's On news by signing up to the newsletter here.
Once open Golf Fang will be open every day of the week from midday until late and customers will be able to book their golf or walk in. Kip Piper, co-founder of The Big Fang Collective, said: “We are really excited to grow the Golf Fang family and to be bringing the experience to Wales. Cardiff is a great location for the newest Golf Fang and we love the energy and atmosphere the city has to offer. The newest venue will feature some of our most popular experiential elements and we can’t wait to see how the guests interact with the graffiti-led space.”

Drinks at their Liverpool venue include unique cocktails such as Golfers Paradise, made from Ketel One vodka, passoa, apple juice, cranberry juice, pureed mango and lime juice and the Lethal Drizzle made from Tanqueray gin, Chambord, blackberry liqueur drizzle, elderflower, apple and lemon juice topped with tonic.
Golf Fang will not be the only experience led night out option in Cardiff as Welsh footballer Gareth Bale has his own mini golf bar, Par 59. There is also Flight Club, where customers can play darts while enjoying their drinks, which recently opened in the city and there is the gaming bar NQ64.
