The Hall of Fame-worthy career of Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce has already pushed him to popularity levels well outside the NFL gridiron. The NFL All-Pro has increased his fans worldwide due to his fun personality and entertainment ventures, but we’ve learned over time that his mother, Donna, is perhaps his biggest fan. She has certainly played a significant role in that growth.

In January 2022, following the Chiefs’ wild card victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers, Donna crashed the Chiefs’ media availability with her son, creating a wholesome moment for the season.

“This was an elation to see you get a touchdown (pass) in a playoff game,” Donna said. “I mean, oh my gosh, how good did that feel after all these years.”
“To finally throw a touchdown? Like I used to tell my Mom when I was five years old, I was eventually going to throw a touchdown in the National Football League,” Travis said. “I finally got it done. It only took me nine years. That’s a good question, Mom. I’m glad I could put a smile on your face.”

“She was the heavyweight champ, man,” Travis added. “She was on top of it, and she shined the whole time, man. That was the coolest part. Mom, you absolutely killed it, Dad, you’ve been killing it.”
Donna starts rumor of leaked Chiefs vs. Eagles game
We know this wasn’t accurate information, but the momentary buzz it stirred on social media flexed Donna’s influence in the game. In the comment section of a Facebook post, someone suggested that the Super Bowl LVII rematch between the Chiefs and Eagles could take place in Week 1. Donna responded by saying the Chiefs would play the Eagles at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 2

The Chiefs, in reality, are playing the Eagles at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 11, and the social media confusion was used as part of the team’s schedule reveal video.
