The running thought is that if Aaron Rodgers does come to the Jets, he will try to recruit some of his buddies to join him with Gang Green. Maybe there was recruiting going on with a former Jets quarterback.
Okay, not really, but it is still interesting to see three former Jets have now all joined the Miami Dolphins in free agency. First, it was quarterback Mike White. Now, two more players joined the list Thursday as guard Dan Feeney and wide receiver Braxton Berrios will also join head coach Mike McDaniel.
Berrios will be on his third AFC East team. He’s been with the Jets and the Patriots. Maybe one day he’ll join the Bills to complete the tour. Berrios spent four seasons with the Jets.
Dolphins are signing former Jets’ WR Braxton Berrios to a one-year deal, per league source. The deal was negotiated and confirmed by Drew Rosenhaus and Robert Bailey.
