Leeds United's first game under the management of Jesse Marsch ultimately ended in defeat but there was much to like about the Whites' performance at the King Power Stadium last Saturday, as Leeds comprehensively outshot their opponents.
Kasper Schemichel was man-of-the-match in the Leicester goal but the home side hit Leeds with a sucker punch as Harvey Barnes scored with his side's only open-play shot of any note from inside the box.
And former England goalkeeper, Leeds United fan and academy product, David Seaman gave his assessment of the team's improvement on his podcast.
"They were a lot better at the weekend. Stronger defensively and creating chances – they always create chances but they were unlucky to lose," he said on Seaman Says.
There was also in-depth discussion on one of Leeds' rivals in the Premier League relegation battle as Seaman spoke about Everton's relegation chances after their 5-0 loss to Tottenham on Monday night.
"Everton have more talent than Leeds. They are quality players and they’re not doing it.
"There’s a lot of stuff going wrong and a lot of quality players not putting a shift in.
"They look a bit like Man United in that they’re disjointed.
"You look and think ‘that’s a good team’ and they don’t do it.
"I’m glad we’re talking about Everton and we’re not talking about Leeds."
