A look at Austin Reaves’ limited edition AR1 ‘Stars and Stripes’ sneaker

In less than two calendar years, Austin Reaves has gone from an afterthought as an undrafted guard to a good player in the limelight.

He blossomed this past season as a difference-maker on the Los Angeles Lakers. He seemingly improved as the season went on, and it culminated with a very strong playoff run in which his numbers were higher than in the regular season.

This summer, he has been playing with Team USA as it looks to regain the gold medal in the FIBA World Cup. He has helped it reach the semifinal round, in which it will play Germany on Friday morning.

Another sign Reaves has arrived is the fact he has his own sneaker with the brand Rigorer. That sneaker has already been released, but it is soon to drop in a new patriotic colorway.

With Team USA favored to win it all, Reaves is likely just getting started.
