A look around Edinburgh's most expensive Airbnb property ahead of Eurovision 2023

Earlier this week, it was confirmed that the UK will host Eurovision 2023 after coming second place in the annual competition.

It follows the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine who took first place during this year's competition.

Ukraine were due to hold next year's contest in Kyiv however risks surrounding the war with Russia and security measures have meant that it is no longer feasible.

With the news having been announced, many areas are now looking to host in their city and now the leader of Edinburgh Council has hinted at a possible bid to host.

Council and Labour leader Cammy Day gave locals a hint that Edinburgh could be in with a shout alongside other Scottish cities, replying to the official announcement that it will take place in the UK and urging both Edinburgh and Glasgow council to make a move.

So with this in mind, we wanted to take a look at properties that are available to stay at during this period to see what we could get four our money and which is the most expensive.

Edinburgh's Luxury Modern-Victorian Design apartment

The property boasts two bedrooms, three beds - one room which comes with two single beds - and two bathrooms. And they're pretty fancy.

In the pictures the property is clearly bright and spacious as well as being very modern. The description continues boasting of the apartment's "Victorian design".

The space comes with a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table which can also be doubled up as a space to work from remotely away from the office.

As well as this, the place comes with a 50 inch smart TV, a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. For those keen to unwind after a long day, the first bedroom has a king size bed and a 55 inch smart TV whilst the other bedroom has two single beds and a 50 inch smart TV.

Written on the rental website's description reads: "Comfortably relax in a unique and cosy home away from home with original stone walls combined with a classic and modern design. The atmosphere is sophisticated, with high-end furnishings, luxurious linens and bathrooms, and a fully-equipped kitchen.

"Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located place. Only ten minutes walk away from St. James quarter. Nice restaurants, cafes and grocery shops just around the corner!"

The property currently costs £170 during a week's stay in May for one person around the time of Eurovision. This compares to a nightly price of £318 for next month for six days.
