The WNBA All-Star Game, scheduled for July 20 in Phoenix, will feature a matchup between the WNBA All-Stars and the U.S. Olympic team. The selection of All-Stars is determined by a combination of fan votes (50%), current WNBA players (25%), and media (25%).
Following the conclusion of the voting process, the top 10 players with the highest votes will be named as All-Star Game participants. Players who are part of the U.S. Olympic team will remain with their respective teams. The remaining spots on the WNBA All-Star team will be filled by the league's coaches, selecting from the next 36 highest vote-getters, ensuring a balance of post players and guards.
Coaches are prohibited from voting for their own players in the selection process. The final rosters for the WNBA All-Star Game are set to be announced on July 2, building anticipation for the exciting event.
