A.J. Brown has a reasonable explanation for the book he was reading during Eagles-Packers

The Philadelphia Eagles took care of business against the Green Bay Packers in their wild card matchup on Sunday, but all anyone wants to talk about afterwards is A.J. Brown’s reading habits.

During Sunday’s game, Fox cameras showed Brown reading a book on the Eagles’ bench between offensive series. Overall, Brown had an uncharacteristically quiet game for the Eagles — totaling just one reception for 10 yards — which left Fox pondering whether or not he was frustrated with his game. Brown later clarified with reporters that no, he wasn’t frustrated to the point of cracking open a book to distract himself from the game.

In fact, Brown then said on Twitter that he brings his book — Inner Excellence by Jim Murphy — to every game and reads passages from it after every drive to “refocus” himself.

A pretty reasonable explanation!
