A.J. Brown is one of the NFL’s top wide receivers, and as a perennial All-Pro, the Eagles pass catcher can have moments where he gets frustrated when he’s not getting the football.
Hoping to stay focused, positive, and aware of his emotions, Brown was spotted reading Jim Murphy’s ‘Inner Excellence’ on the sidelines late in the fourth quarter of Philadelphia’s wild-card game against Green Bay.

Afterward, Brown explained to the media his reasoning for reading the book and how it brings the wide receiver “peace” and mental jewels.

In the book, Murphy helps some of the world’s top athletes discover the mental training system that has empowered athletes to become world #1 and, most importantly, transform their lives.
Brown has one catch for ten yards on three targets, but Philadelphia is winning 22-10 and will move on to the NFC Divisional Round of the playoffs.
