Two weeks ago the latest instalment in the Bridgerton series landed on Netflix. The steamy period-drama is based around the lives of the Bridgerton family, and is based on a series of books by bestselling author, Julia Quinn.
The show broke numerous records with its first series, and has continued its roaring success. In fact, season two managed to rake in viewers with 251.74 million hours viewed for the week of March 28 to April 3 — its first full week on the streaming service.
Seasons three and four have already been confirmed by the streaming platform, and with eight books in this series, and a whole range of prequels and sequels, we will not be running out of content any time soon (hallelujah). However, if like me, you are already missing the Bridgerton bunch and fancy creating your own Regency era fantasies, worry not; most of the stunning locations used for filming the show are open to the public.
Here is a map, showing just some of the key locations.
With warmer weather on the way next week, now is as good a time as any to plan a road trip or two to visit some of the amazing locations that formed the backdrop of the show.
