A Graveyard Placed In The Back Of A Three Bedroom Property Where Ghosts Appear

The three-bed property in Philadelphia, Penn., has gone viral after social media users were stunned by its spooky gliding guide and patio view. Homesnap avoids showing the graveyard that would potentially turn off homebuyers. KENNEDY NEWS/SWNS TALKER

A “poltergeist” appears to take house hunters on a tour of this stylish home – even zooming over the graveyard outside the back window.

Freelance estate agent Destiny Sherie Carter, 27, arranged for a drone to fly through the 1,200 sq ft home that gave some the impression it was a ‘poltergeist’ doing the filming.

But users were even more baffled when the drone flew through the patio doors at the rear of the property to show a graveyard packed with headstones below the decking.

The clip has been viewed more than 4,000 times since being posted to TikTok and Instagram last month with users appearing unable to focus on the stylish wood-floored interior.

Some joked the property, which is listed for $325,000, was “perfect for Wednesday Addams” from the Addams Family and that it had a “view to die for” with quiet neighbors.

Destiny admits she was cautious about revealing the graveyard on the video but 40-year-old drone pilot Ron Williams felt it was important to show.

They’ve since laughed at the comments and are pleased their work went viral – even if they were mistaken for a paranormal entity.

The property, which has two bathrooms, an open-plan kitchen and living area and “floating stairs,” is now under offer.

Destiny said: “I’ve loved reading the comments because they’re really creative. Some said it looked like a ghost was recording and people said it was like the Thriller video too.

“We wanted to show people a renovated home in a nice area. It just so happened to have a graveyard in the back.

“It’s a neatly kept graveyard. There are only a few tombstones knocked over and there’s a whole row of houses with people who bought their houses behind it.”

One listing on the property site Homesnap avoids sharing any pictures of the graveyard, but Ron said he felt it was important for his drone path to cover it.

Ron said: “Destiny wondered if we had to show the graveyard, but I said we kind of have to. If you’re going to want to buy the house you’re going to see it anyway.

“The graveyard is funny. You can jump out of the porch and into it.”

The video has been liked more than 4,000 times on TikTok and Instagram with users joking about the spooky “neighbors.”

One joked: “That’s a view to die for.”

Another wrote: “A cemetery for a back garden. Perfect for Wednesday Addams, maybe.”

A third commented: “At least the neighbors are quiet.”
