A warm and welcoming independent coffee shop and cafe in Gower is closing down this week as its lease has unfortunately ended. The Lookout Three Cliffs, located in Southgate village, will shut its doors for the last time on Sunday, March 12 after three years of trading there.
Fortunately, no jobs will be lost as staff will be relocated to the business' sister site, The Lookout Rhossili, which will continue to operate. Staff say they would love to see their Look Out Three Cliffs customers come and visit them there in the coming weeks.
Announcing their impending closure, The Lookout Three Cliffs staff shared a customer notice on social media and said: "With great sadness we announce that our journey at The Lookout Three Cliffs will shortly be coming to an end. Our three year contract finishes in March so our last day of trading will be Sunday, March 12 2023.

"The village has made us feel very welcome from day one which we are most grateful for and we have made some incredible friends during our time here. We will be continuing our adventure at The Lookout Rhossili so please, please pop in and say hello... A further post on social media praises staff for working hard throughout the last three years - and not letting the pandemic dampen spirits. "Our three year lease is up at The Lookout Three Cliffs. The last day of us trading there is Sunday, March 12," the post reads. "Even with the interruption of Covid-19 days after opening didn’t dampen our spirits!
"We have had three amazing years there and made some very good friends along the way and without doubt you will be missed. Our amazing, honest and hard working staff will be moving to The Lookout Rhossili where we will continue to open daily and provide a service with a smile and a warm welcome as always! This weekend we will be open 9am to 5pm."
The Lookout Three Cliffs and The Lookout Rhossili are renowned locally for serving delicious sandwiches, paninis, pastries, cakes, coffees and ice cream.
