Micky van de Ven's agent believes Tottenham Hotspur would be a good move for the Liverpool-linked defender - but says no agreement is in place with the north London club.
Jose Forte Rodriguez is a consultant of the Dutch talent who has come under the spotlight during the summer following a positive season with Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg. Van de Ven emerged as a possible target for Liverpool according to reports, amid claims that the Reds are looking to bolster their backline this summer.
Already, Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai have moved to Anfield penning long-term deals with Jurgen Klopp's side. Jorg Schmadtke succeeded Julian Ward in the Liverpool hierarchy after the sporting director left just one year after replacing Michael Edwards.
Van de Ven has previously claimed the Reds are a "nice club" and admitted that should the right team with the right offer be tabled he would consider the next step.

In recent days, it has been reported by Dutch journalist Mike Verweij that Ange Postecoglu's side have reached a personal agreement with Spurs which would see him sign a five-year deal.
However, in an interview with WAZ, Rodriguez has dismissed claims that his client has agreed to a Premier League move. He said: "We have to talk to VfL first.
"I think Tottenham would be a good move for Micky. But there is still no agreement."
The ECHO understands that defensively Liverpool are being named in connection with a number of centre-halves as the questions over the Reds' tactical framework for the coming campaign rumble on. Much depends on the use of Trent Alexander-Arnold going forward but another centre-back would be ideal if the profile and price were suitable.
Levi Colwill is widely appreciated but sources have dismissed the prospect of Sporting CP defender Goncalo Inacio being under any real consideration, despite reports in Portugal suggesting both the Reds and Chelsea are set to enter a bidding war.
