A golfer angrily threw his putter off the green and then later snapped a club in U.S. Open meltdowns

Golf is hard. It can also be pretty darn frustrating. Then try playing in a U.S. Open, where the conditions are always tough and even the best players in the world can look like amateurs.

Well, Grayson Murray knows all about that Sunday at The Country Club in Brookline, Ma. The No. 544th ranked golfer in the world, who had to get through qualifiers to get here, has found some rough times in the final round and he didn’t hide his frustrations at all. Instead, he took things out on his clubs.

First, after a triple bogey on the 7th hole he tossed his putter into the fescue off the green:

He’s currently +9 on his round and in last place at +17 for the tournament.
