New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Wednesday, November 6, pronounced a historic verdict in a 5-year-old case of illegal demolition of houses by bulldozers. The Apex Court delivered this verdict against the bulldozer action after taking suo motu cognizance of the letter-petition of the country's senior journalist Manoj Tibrewal Aakash.
According to the Dynamite News correspondent, this judgement of the Apex Court on the petition of Manoj Tibrewal Aakash has become a precedent for the country, paving a ray of hope of justice among lakhs of people of the country, whose houses were demolished illegally by running bulldozers without giving any notice.
