College football fans — particularly SEC die-hards — are truly one of a kind.
You want proof? Here you go: Alison Mastrangelo of WSBTV Atlanta was somewhere in flooded Georgia after Hurricane Helene, when she saw a dude blow up a tiny raft and paddle across the neighborhood to get his friend from a house.
Why? Because they were going to Tuscaloosa for the Bulldogs’ game against Alabama. It’s pretty wild, and the water he was paddling in did NOT look good, so it was harrowing.
But he made it across, grabbed his buddy, and off they go. Just amazing. Go Dawgs!
Guys I know @SEC fans are built different but this guy just blew up a float to go rescue his friend who is trapped in a house. They’re going to the Georgia Alabama game and he doesn’t want his friend to miss it. #godawgs #atlanta pic.twitter.com/at5iAz3Ja7

GUYS THEY MADE IT ACROSS !! A lot of #GoDawgs cheers after. Also he’s a Bulldog fan just holding an Alabama rain jacket his sister gave him. Both safe and dry and leaving in a hour to Alabama. pic.twitter.com/FZeBpu1NkQ
