A furious Patrick Mahomes was visibly frustrated on the sidelines after Kadarius Toney’s drop interception

The Kansas City Chiefs have struggled more than expected this season and that frustration is clearly weighing on Patrick Mahomes. Only a week ago, Mahomes’ angry outburst made waves after Travis Kelce’s lateral touchdown against the Buffalo Bills was wiped off the board thanks to a Kadarius Toney offside.

And now, Toney is in hot water once again after an avoidable mistake and Mahomes has had enough of it.

During Sunday’s Week 15 matchup against the New England Patriots, the Kansas City Chiefs won their away matchup 27-17, but a key drop from Toney led to an avoidable fourth quarter interception. Here’s how the play went down, with Mahomes throwing a perfect pass to Toney, who bobbled it before it was intercepted by the Patriots.

On the sidelines, Mahomes was visibly irate after the play, clearly upset with how it went down even in a winning effort.

The Chiefs have been way more mistake-prone this season and Toney’s have been more glaring than most in recent weeks. Kansas City may be primed for another playoff run, but these mistakes are definitely starting to grate on Mahomes and Chiefs fans, who sounded off on Toney after the play.
