A full look at Arsenal's new 2022/23 Adidas home kit which has divided fans

Fans are divided on the new images showing Arsenal's Adidas home kit for the 2022/23 season. A refreshing change from this current seasons kit, the new images show the full strip and fans are eager for a release date to be announced.

Adidas has taken inspiration from the popular kits of the 80's and 90's with this new design which that has split opinion online. In the traditional red and white the new shirt is also set to feature a bold new change.

The all red kit will have white sleeves as well as white logos and detailing. This will be paired with white shorts that will feature red Adidas stripes and trim.

A white polo-style collar has been added to the shirt that features a red zig-zag graphic. The collar bares some resemblance to the popular 1996-98 shirt as worn by the likes of Dennis Bergkamp and Patrick Vieira.

During the 1997-98 season Arsene Wenger guided the Gunners to their first title win in seven years, during his first season in charge of the club. Arsenal fans will be hoping that this new kit will also be a good omen for the club.

Fans have already shown their love for the kit on Twitter with one user saying 'Arsenal 22/23 Home Kit is a MUST' and another adding, 'That collar is class man'.

Some fans aren't happy with this latest release, stating: 'Just remove the collar and it's perfect' and 'Collars. Reserved for Golf and Paul Weller. Not my team.'

Whether you are a fan of the new kit or not, the current Arsenal kit is available via the Arsenal Direct shop and online at Adidas.
