A Floridian MMA fighter joked he took ‘No Nut November’ to a new level after he ruptured a testicle during training.

Christian Lohsen of the Professional Fighters League revealed that he lost a testicle during a freak training accident on Instagram. Luckily, it seems as though his spirits are high and he’s continuing to be a good sport despite the incident.

"So last night was rough... in a training accident I got my left testicle ruptured by a knee which led to it getting surgically removed,” he wrote in a post. Lohsen thanked everyone who helped get him to the hospital and said he is at home resting after a successful surgery.

“Doc said I won’t lose testosterone or ability to have kids from this,” Lohsen said before adding: “If I lose the other one however it’s a different story so from now on if you hit me in my last testicle we aren’t friends... lol.”

In his caption, Lohsen added a few cheeky hashtags to lighten up the mood, “#NoNutNovember #OneBallWonder #MMAIsADangerousGame #TookNoNutNovemberWayTooFar.”

The 26-year-old has won his last 5 out of 6 fights, losing only to J.J. Okanovich in the Dana White Contender Series in 2019.

In a follow-up post, Lohsen commented on his newfound fame with a screenshot of media coverage surrounding his accident.

“First and foremost I want to thank everyone for your well wishes. -100,000/10 do not recommend for anyone to go through that... but since I’m stuck on the couch while recovering, I’ve found it crazy how many articles/comments/forums I’ve seen about what happened.”

He added that he has seen support from many and a “ton of good jokes” that have resulted in a “good, much-needed laugh.”

“Thank you to everyone that’s sending good vibes! I will recover and be back!” Lohsen said.
