The Philadelphia Eagles might be one of the NFL’s best teams and the presumed NFC favorite for the Super Bowl, but they’ve had a rough go of it lately. And after losing an undefeated season to the rival Washington Commanders (thanks to some controversy), the lowly Indianapolis Colts had the Eagles on the ropes on Sunday. Suffice it to say, it’s been a nerve-wracking week or so for Philadelphia fans.
In the end, after a Jalen Hurts touchdown run in the final few minutes, the Eagles would eventually cement a way-too-close 17-16 win over the Colts. (Note: They were 9.5 favorites coming in with BetGM.) While most might be concerned with how Philadelphia once again looked against a mediocre squad, head coach Nick Sirianni hilariously demonstrated he once again understood that “a win is a win.”
How? A clearly fired-up Sirianni found a small group of Eagles fans on the road in Indianapolis and stood on a bench to celebrate and rile them up out of pure delight:

Still, remember this as you watch Sirianni go bananas over a one-point over the Colts: They are a 4-6-1 football team. There are almost no bright spots on that roster being coached by someone with extremely minimal high-level coaching experience.
