Fawlty Towers may have only spanned 12 episodes, but fans of the iconic British comedy can soon relive their favourite scenes when a dining experience inspired by the show rolls into town next month.
The 'immersive' Faulty Towers The Dining Experience is celebrating its twenty fifth anniversary with a new Manchester residency at Hotel Brooklyn in the city centre - full of the same hapless tricks and tomfoolery which earned the comedy it's place in the British TV hall of fame. And yes, Manuel, Basil and Sybil will be attendance.
Producer Jared Harford, said: "We’re thrilled beyond belief to be bringing the fun and chaos of our show to Manchester, and we have a great partner in the team from Hotel Brooklyn. We know people still want to go out and enjoy themselves, while being conscious of rising costs – which is why an immersive show including dinner really is the best option for anyone looking for a spectacular night out in the centre of town!"

The experience, created by Interactive Theatre International, is all about the unexpected, with all the usual plot twists you would hope from the original show, plus a few twists and turns as the show is 70 per cent improvised.
Loosely based on the hit show, the funs starts from the moment guests take their seats, then hurtles along in a two hour 'tour de force' of shambolic service as Basil, Sybil and Manuel serve a ‘70s-style three-course meal together with a side helping of mayhem for good measure.
Paul Bayliss, Regional General Manager at Hotel Brooklyn said: "This show is lots of fun and I’m sure it’ll bring plenty of laughs to the diners…and of course it’s a great name for the event as every hotel and restaurant gets accused of being Fawlty Towers, so here’s the proof!”
A loving tribute to the classic TV series, the show has been seen by over a million people worldwide since the very first show at the Ridges Hotel in Brisbane in April 1997. Devised by Alison Pollard-Mansergh, Andrew Foreman and others, the show has been touring the the world since 2008, having appeared in 41 countries to date, and employing 56 actors per season.
The dining experience, while inspired by the BBC series written by John Cleese and Connie Booth, does not share the same scripts. Faulty Towers The Dining Experience uses its own original scripts and format.
The show will play at the Hotel Brooklyn with performances from 24 February to 12 March 2023.
