A fan made a full-court putt and won $50K during a Blazers game

If you’re like me, your golf game can use work. All those Saturday (and Sunday) morning sessions with your friends on the green are fun and embarrassing. Sure, you’re out there laughing, driving around in your little cart, and enjoying the rays, which is great. It’s still not going to make that 148 feel any better.

Little do you know that all those long mornings may one day pay off in one of the best ways. It’s a lesson a fan — who’s clearly been practicing — learned during a Blazers-Rockets game in Portland on Friday night.

In a mid-game contest, the Moda Center crew gave an esteemed person one job: Make one full-court putt into a tiny house on the other end to win $50,000. Welp, see you next time. That’s not happening.

Or not???

Oh my goodness. What a shot, and what a happy moment for that fan. He took his 15 minutes and ran with them.

It goes to show that your morning tee times don’t have to be all doom and gloom. One random, lucky day, you might be making a full-court putt for $50,000 at an NBA game. Well, let’s be honest. “Making” is probably an overstatement. You might have a shot at $50,000 by making a full-court putt.
