Dilapidated building collapses in Mumbai’s Borivali, no casualty

A four-storey building collapsed in Saibaba Nagar of Borivali West in Mumbai. No casualties reported so far.

The building ‘Gitanjali’, was declared dilapidated and subsequently vacated.

At least eight fire engines, two rescue vans and other vehicles of Mumbai fire brigade were rushed to the spot along with the police and civic ward staff.

Two rescue vans and three ambulances are on the site.

No injuries have been reported so far. All families were asked to vacate the building.
