A Detroit carnival had to be packed up before Bills-Browns, and NFL fans had the same Lions joke

News of a massive Western New York snowstorm has had the NFL world scrambling around this weekend, trying to figure out what to do with the tenuous situation of the Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns game in Buffalo. And on Thursday, in the interest of protecting everyone’s general safety from trying to navigate a reported six feet of snow — the league formally announced it would move the location of the Bills-Browns game this Sunday to the domed Ford Field in Detroit.

Hilariously and ironically enough, Buffalo and Cleveland will have to follow an indoor carnival being held within the stadium’s confines on Friday. Naturally, said carnival has to be quickly packed up before the Bills and Browns arrive on Sunday:

I know what you’re thinking: Said carnival is not actually the Detroit Lions. (They are on the road to face the New York Giants this weekend.) I know. Shocking that the biggest clown show in the Motor City this Friday isn’t its awful NFL team.

On that note, the Bills are also currently scheduled to play the Lions in Ford Field on Thanksgiving. At the moment, Detroit has two home wins all season (over the Commanders and Packers). That means we could soon see a reality where Buffalo has as many wins in Detroit’s stadium as the team that actually plays there full-time.

Perfection. No notes.

Many NFL fans had the same thought and joke about the Lions and the Ford Field carnival when they heard about it having to go quickly to welcome the Bills and Browns.

NFL fans jokingly referred to the Detroit carnival that has to leave quickly before Sunday as the Lions
