A comedian just got naked on Friday Night Live and viewers can't get over it

Friday Night Live was always cutting comedy with some close-to-the bone scenes, but old-school comedians Julian Clary and Ben Elton left the shock moment of the evening to musician-turned-comedian, Jordan Gray, who whipped her dress off at the end of her act and danced around the stage completely naked.

After performing her comedy set and taking to the stage to sing a tune, transgender performer Jordan surprised everyone by taking off her dress and jumping around the stage. Many viewers took to Twitter to air their surprise, but for those familiar with her live act, Is It a Bird, it wasn't so much of a shock.

One Twitter user said: "Oh my god!! Jordan Gray! @Talldarkfriend #FridayNightLive" and another added: "Holy cow! What a finale! #fridaynightlive #jordangray."

A third said: "Wow. What performance have I just seen! Haha." and "@Talldarkfriend you aced it tonight on #FridayNightLive you should be proud, that was a brilliant set you aced it, well done!" A fifth said: "Loving even more the folks getting annoyed about Jordan getting naked on #FridayNightLive . Makes it even more hilarious."

Another wrote: "Well Jordan Gray (@Talldarkfriend) was f**king hilarious, made the most of live tv and a perfect example of why Channel 4 should never be privatised."

Jordan Gray first shot to fame on The Voice in 2016 as the first transgender contestant on the show. Although she did not have a successful musical career she quickly made it in the comedy world.

In 2022 her Edinburgh Fringe Show set sold out and came out this zinger, when talking about issues with trans women, that “the whole world has no problem with Bruce Wayne identifying as a bat”?

Jordan still incorporates music into her acts, telling The Guardian: "People go into a show with an inherent tension about certain things. If you can pop that, you get an easy laugh and then we can start a dialogue. But even from that very first gig, no cliches."

After the Edinburgh Fringe Festival Jordan went on to have two very successful tours in the London Palladium. Friday Night Live returned for one night only to Channel 4, r eplacing Gogglebox which viewers were not happy about.
