A Blue Jays fan had a priceless reaction after he just missed catching Aaron Judge’s 61st home run

There’s no one in the world feeling worse right now than this Toronto Blue Jays fan.

On Wednesday, Aaron Judge tied the AL single-season home run record at 61 after launching a ball over the wall in Toronto. It’s an incredibly historic moment, even though some MLB fans don’t agree with the sentimentality, and one that ties Roger Maris in a record that’s stood since 1961.

You’d imagine that record-tying baseball would be worth quite a lot on the market if you were to be the one to get your hands on it. Unfortunately for this Blue Jays fan — in fact, this whole section of them — the opportunity for a big pay day slipped through their fingers and gloves in a matter of seconds.

Yeah, that one hurts. To be so close and to have history — and probably a lot of money! — slip through your fingers isn’t easy to come back from. Good thing no one saw it happen, right?
